Kayak Rack for 2009 Nissan Murano

Customer Fit Request: I need to purchase a kayak rack for a 14’ Santee 140T to mount on the roof of my 2009 Nissan Murano. My car has rails but no cross bars. What do you suggest? Are the Malone “soft” carriers OK? I will use my kayak a few times a month, only rarely more often. Thanks!
